Create an extraordinary, out-of-this-world Halloween event to support the brand film “The Rime of the Ancient Mariner: a Nautical Space Nightmare”. 

Our two objectives:

  1. Increased brand mentions on social over Halloween: The activation should be attention grabbing and newsworthy to drive social buzz around the brand at Halloween. 
  2. Drive product engagement: Footfall driving to venue (Flat Iron Square). Sales driving in venue.


We brought the space-nautical nightmare themed brand campaign into to the real world,to create an out-of-this-world tap-room takeover for 5 days over Halloween, at Flat Iron Square, London SE1.

A huge UFO crash landed into the outside of the building through branded set design in the tap room, and a WTF surprise performance – an army of alien’s dredged up from the river Thames marching through the streets of London towards the venue, Flat Iron Square.  

10 dancers, 2 drummers, 4 processions, 4 live performances, 1 photo shoot over 3 days.

The venue reached capacity Thurs, Fri and Sat and took their biggest revenue on the Saturday since opening. The venue saw a 300% + increase on Beavertown sales over 5 days, with their week on week bar revenue up 84%.
